Tace is an NPC from the Temphere universe. They are a kalashtar, sharing their mortal form with the quori spirit Vahad. Tace lives in Caellond, where they use their kalashtar powers to read people's fortunes via a deck of cards. Like all Temphere NPCs, Tace is played by Tiger.

History Edit

The party met Tace for the first time during the events of the Festival of Masks. They had set their fox friend, Scout, to wait outside of the tent where they were reading fortunes and lure people over. The party decided that it could be fun, and so went to talk to them one at a time. Most were given a decent bit to think about, but Hush in particular seemed very upset by her fortune, though she refused to explain why.

Later on the party ran into Tace again during the ball being held for fey queen Naireda's birthday. Tace explained that they'd been invited to the previous event by Qlu, and while there had told a fortune that saved a member of the court from something that would have been bad for her career. That courtier invited Tace back, and they were giving fortunes to the party guests.

The party all remarked on various ways that their previous fortunes had ended up accurate, and Tace offered to read their fortunes again now that some time had passed. Hush was not with them, and probably would not have been too excited regardless, but Dahlia, Anther, and Cree agreed, as did Fracture who was with them. This second reading ended up being a good bit more critical and relevant to the party member's issues in the present then their future as the last one had been, and the party was left to mull Tace's revelations.

Personality Edit

Tace has a serious personality- they seem friendly enough, polite and somewhat reserved. They are also good humored and patient where their fox friend Scout is concerned.
